Clarkston Consulting Hires New Associate Partner for Western Region
DURHAM, NC — April 8, 2009. Clarkston Consulting, a leading management and technology consulting firm, announced that Joseph Marino has been hired as an Associate Partner based out of the Carlsbad, California office. With over twenty five years in consulting and industry, Mr. Marino has thrived on delivering large complex projects on-time and on-budget. His experience has included global ERP implementations, sales process improvements, and IT strategies. “Joe is a strategic part of our West growth plan. His deep industry knowledge and experience is key in helping our clients to grow and improve their operational efficiencies and capitalize on opportunities during these economic times,” said Mark Ginestro, West Region Managing Partner.
Before joining the Clarkston team, Mr. Marino was a partner in the Global Business Services division of IBM and formerly with PricewaterhouseCoopers in charge of the US Consumer Products CRM practice. Mr. Marino’s experience spans the Consumer Products and Life Sciences industries working with companies such as ConAgra, Hormel, Novartis, and Baxter Healthcare. .
Over the years Mr. Marino has participated in a range of philanthropic activities and educational endeavors including serving as a member of the board of directors of the Historical Society of Southern California, the Marino Foundation, and the Association of Insulin Dependent Diabetics as well as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and L.A. Works. He has also been a guest lecturer for the Core Consulting Skills class at the University of California, Berkeley in the School of Information.
Mr. Marino is a graduate of the School of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley where he was a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. He holds a number of professional certifications including the American Production & Inventory Control Society.
