Within Clarkston Consulting, there are six career levels for employees: Associate, Senior, Manager, Director, Associate Partner and Partner. In order for employees to provide exceptional service to their clients, we have established a competency-based performance model that each employee is appraised on and focused on as they enhance their skills and grow their careers. Employee responsibilities are measured and grouped into four areas of focus:

Progression from one position to the next is based on demonstrated performance in each of the competency areas as well as performance at the next level. Clarkston provides ongoing career coaching and feedback through its performance appraisal programs and our open communications environment.
Regardless of your job level, project assignments are always "role based." This allows Clarkston to deliver excellent client service by having flexibility to leverage our diverse skills in a variety of roles no matter what a person's level is within the company.
